You can delete part or all of your RemoCam data yourself, in the app, at any time, without contacting support.
Delete one camera
- Open RemoCam and sign in as the account owner.
- Choose Use as viewer and open the camera you want to remove.
- Select Remove camera.
This deletes that camera's configuration, its viewing grants, and its signaling records immediately, and any cloud clips it recorded are removed by the next retention sweep.
Unpair the camera device
On the device acting as a camera, choose Unpair camera on the camera duty screen. That device's identity is revoked and it can no longer connect to your account.
Delete your whole account
- Open RemoCam and sign in as the account owner.
- Open Account from the profile button in the header.
- Under Delete account, select Delete account…, type DELETE, and confirm.
Deletion runs immediately: any subscription is canceled, your data is removed, and you are signed out. If you signed in more than ten minutes ago, RemoCam asks you to sign in again first — deletion cannot be undone, so it never runs on a stale session.
Prefer to have us do it? Email support@remo.cam from the address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my account. We verify the request comes from the account holder, then delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
What deletion removes
- Your account record and sign-in association.
- Every camera's configuration, name, use-case labels, and capability flags.
- All viewing grants and the stored viewing-PIN verifier.
- All signaling records.
- All cloud clip media and clip metadata.
- Your saved preferences, themes, and questionnaire answers.
- Any active subscription, canceled with the payment provider.
What is kept, and why
Billing and tax records are retained for the period that accounting and tax law requires, even after account deletion. They contain the subscription and payment history — never your video, clips, or camera contents. Backups are purged on their normal rotation.
Your data before you delete
Want a copy first? Email the same address and ask for an export, and we will send your account and camera data within 30 days. Cloud clips can be downloaded from the app while the subscription — or its 72-hour export window — is still active.
